Henry Dixon will be speaking at the 4th UK Wide Infrastructure Investment Conference on Thursday 1st November in London.

His presentation, titled "A tidal change in energy generation", will address how the challenge to deliver security of supply, sustainability and affordability from increasingly distributed and renewable generation will prove increasingly demanding over the next few years.

He will show how tidal lagoons have the potential to provide a valuable contribution to the UK’s energy needs, security and stability with the offer of large installed capacity, predictability of supply, energy storage and inertia. Henry will also highlight the wider benefits of tidal lagoons, particularly coastal and flooding protection for high risk coastal communities, increasing their attractiveness beyond pure energy considerations.
